Description
This is a 14 x 11 Acrylic painting on black canvas. It is of a Ring-Tailed Lemur looking up at the light. His eyes are the main focus of this piece, thus the name "Amber Eyes"
Lemurs arrived in Madagascar around 65 million years ago by rafting on mats of vegetation, they are only found in Madagascar.
Lemurs are social and live in groups that usually less than 16 individuals
The greatest concern facing lemur populations is habitat destruction .
