Description
This is a 16 x 12 Acrylic Painting on white canvas. This is a ruby throated hummingbird that is fly down and into tall grass to check out so flowers that have caught his eye. The background was done using many different hues of green and a modeling tech. After that the back taller weeds and grass was painted in , then a dry brush tech , to brighten up the area where Ruby would be as the main center or focal point. . Then Ruby was painted in , after that the blue flowers then more weeds and grass and flowers in front of him to make him appear to be inside of the flower patch.
