This is a 11 x 14 black clayboard with an American Kestrel scratched into it. It was then colored with ink and water color paints and also acrylic paints.
The image is not cleared yet and will look better and black will be darker.
The American kestrel is the smallest and most common falcon in North America. Its plumage is colorful and attractive, and juveniles are similar in plumage to adults.
Its diet typically consists of grasshoppers and other insects, lizards, mice, and small birds
