Artist Bob Williams Displayes Brazilian Agate Artwork At FAA

Sept. 15th 2014

Havre, Montana

Montana Artist Bob Williams has put a few of his Brazilian Agates on display at his website with Fine Art of America.
If you are unsure about Brazilian Agate Art and what it is or looks like , I think you'll be in for a treat. It is very unique and very pretty , We 'll go through the process in steps below.

The 1st step is to find what you would like to paint on an agate. The agates he uses are between 4x6 to 8x12 in size so don't plan a large landscape'

Will the agate be to small or to big for the image and the shape of the agate, will it...

Step one of the four step process is to draw out your image in pencil and get it where you like it.

Step two is to transfer that artwork to the clayboard. This is done different by every artist and is a matter of choice.

Step three is to use a scratch tool to scrape off the ink and leave the white clay showing thus Engraving out the image of your pencil drawing.

Step four is to leave it black and white or to color it. Inks,...
