Artist's Description
My wife called Theo her �Little Man�. He was a small fella, in size, but thought himself a Rottweiler. The name (Little Man) came about when he jumped between a large attacking dog and my wife. It happened during his daily afternoon walk in the park. Fortunately, the attacking dog�s owner was close by and was able to get the dog off Theo before any harm came to him. Theo�s spirit was a little low afterwards but there was nothing a good amount of love and a tasty reward couldn�t heal. Theo was my wife�s hero! He behaved like, as my wife would say, a �little man�.
Theo had been a show dog in his youth but was retired after some health issues. The image you see was painted when he was much older and not well. Theo was a loving, valiant and loyal family member and we will love him and honor his memory for the rest of our lives.
